Cuddle here with me a while;
Let me bury my hands in your fur.
You’re only here for a little while,
But your soft purr calms me.
Your sight is gone,
Zoomies are a thing of the past,
The playfulness has faded.
You just sit by the bed,
safe out of the walkways
A yowl in the night reminds me
You still have hunger and thirst.
You circle my feet like a shark
Now I understand why
hopefully no more trips and falls
Be my good little bubba
a little while more…
